Every spring, CACSS holds an Annual Show & Sale event. In 2024 the Show & (Mini) Sale will be held on May 17-19 in Dorrance Hall at the Desert Botanical Garden:
May 17 and 18: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm
May 19: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Attendance is free with Garden admission.
Hundreds of the finest and most fantastic cactus and succulents provided by club members will be in display in an air-conditioned environment. Learn how to care for plants in Central Arizona and understand the conservation efforts of local groups. In addition, plants from the DBG Nursery will be available for purchase.
Demonstrations and discussions will include: coping with Phoenix’s extreme climate, supporting healthy plants, and caring for those plants requiring more attention.
Exhibits combined with informal chats and organized discussions will address the accelerating plant loss due to illegal poaching, land development, and climate change. Learn what we are doing to combat these threats and how to join the fight to protect the plants we all admire.
